Welcome to FAVR. This policy explains our privacy practices, the personal information we collect, how we use, your choices and rights regarding this information.

With this privacy policy we comply with local laws in relation to all practices described in this policy. If there is a difference between this policy and the local law, we will comply with the local law to the extent of the differences.

FAVR app & website is provided and controlled by Karthik, 10/3. GNT Road, Sapthagiri Complex, Sembulivaram, Chennai – 600 067 (“we” or “us”).

This policy applies to all FAVR users, aviators and web users as well as when you contact us via telephone, email, written correspondence, social media, in-person, or any other means of contact. This policy does not apply to how we handle data that we collect about our employees or business associates, corporate partners, vendors, and subcontractors, but does apply to our drivers (aviators).

In this policy individuals who utilize our services and request for transportation referred as users or riders and individuals who provide transportation are referred to as drivers or aviators. Use the FAVR service only if you accept the terms of use and agree to us dealing with your information in the way described in this privacy policy.

What Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, information we collect automatically, and information we obtain from other sources. We do not collect information about your racial or ethnic origin, political association, religious, genetic, biometric, or data concerning a person’s personal life.

Information You Provide

Registration and profile information, such as your name, phone number, email, communication address, country, city, preferred language, profile picture & emergency contact numbers.

Driver’s information, which may include driver’s license data and status, information about the vehicle document information along with photo, id document (including driver license, pancard), proof of identity, proof of residency, physical address, taxation identifier number, relevant insurance, right to work, driving record, payment or bank information, and other documents which may be required by applicable regulations. If required by law, we may conduct identity verification and/or background check. This may require collecting and processing such information as your photograph, id document data, social security number and criminal record. This information may be processed by vendors on our behalf or directly by us.

Information in correspondence you send to us, which may include chat messages, emails, and recordings of phone calls you make to us. User input data that you upload through the services, such as comments, ratings, and reviews for other users.

Data We Collect Automatically

Location information. We collect users & driver location related data to enable the rides (including gps coordinates and wifi data) based on the app settings, device permissions

App interaction information. We collect app interaction information related to the use of our services, including the activities you carry out in the app.

User interaction information. We facilitate users to interact with each other. We may also use this data for user support, safety and security purposes, to resolve disputes between users, to improve our services, and for analytics (such as to measure and improve the effectiveness of our website).

Device information. We collect information about the device you use to access the services, including device and network related information that may be used for authentication purposes.

We collect information through the use of cookies in browser & apps and other similar tracking technologies.

Information We Obtain From Other Sources

We may receive the information about users from our service providers & vendors, which may include background check and identity verification and marketing providers. If you choose to use a third-party communication tools or sign up using a third-party social network or login service, where this functionality is available, we may collect information from these services. Please, refer to the third-parties' privacy policies to find out how they treat your information.

State authorities. We may receive information about users from law enforcement agencies and other government authorities as part of a law enforcement request, during legal proceedings, or as required or authorized by law.

Sometimes others may provide us with information about you, including user support, or in connection with claims or disputes. We will only keep and use this information if we could have lawfully collected it from you. We will also take such steps (if any) as reasonable in the circumstances to let you know we have collected this information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect to:
To enable you to use our services
Maintain accessibility, safety and stability of our app and websites.
Comply with regulatory requirements related to our services.
To maintain and enhance safety and security of our services.
To promote FAVR and our services
To comply with legal requirements and industry standards and as part of legal proceedings and in response to law enforcement requests and as otherwise authorized or required by law.

How We Share Your Information

We share certain information with other users which may require to provision of rides. This include user name, photo, trip current location, pickup and drop info, user rating, user performance analytics snapshot information

For the purposes of other services, we will share the information with other users that is necessary for scheduling and provision of such services.

With Service Providers

We may share your personal information with our service providers for business purposes, including:

Payment processing and transaction, technical support team, background checks and identity verification, cloud storage, content delivery, in-app messaging, in-app calling, push notifications, anti-fraud, advertising, marketing, and analytics, consultants, lawyers, accountants, auditors, and other professional services. In connection with the use of google maps in the app and social media companies.

Within Corporate Group

We may share all information we collect with our affiliate business associates of our corporate group to help us provide the services in better manner.

For Legal Requirements

To comply with legal requirements of all types, to protect and defend the rights, interests, safety, and security of FAVR and our users

We may share your personal information after it is masked or otherwise anonymised so that it is no longer personally identifying information.

Your Rights And Choices

Through your device you can control, disable or enable and determine the information we collect and you are in full control. For example, using gps on/off you can control your location information, however the incomplete information received our end will result in interrupted or non-fine quality of the service we extend to our users.

You can opt out from receiving any promotional messages by sending us the “unsubscribe” information in relevant mode.

You can delete cookies and modify your cookie settings on your browser to take control on them.

Deleting Your Account And Data

You can delete your account through the app settings or request the deletion of your account or your data by contacting user support at support@favr.co.in. In some cases, we will be unable to delete your complete account or may retain certain/partial information for legitimate business purposes, such as prevent fraud, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, or to manage any claims in relation to the services. When we retain such data, we retain in such a way that its prevent the use for other purposes.

Please, contact us at support@favr.co.in with your specific question on how we handle our user’s personal data. We will respond to your request with compliance to the applicable law and subject to verification of your identity.

We store and maintain your information for as long as necessary to provide you our services and for the other purposes set out here in this policy.

The retention periods will be different depending on the type of information and the purposes for which we use it.

We may retain user information after account termination due to legal or regulatory requirements or for reasons stated in this policy, including as explained in the section titled “deleting your account and data.” For example, we will retain your information if there is an outstanding debt associated with your account. We retain transactional information such as rides and payments for the period of time necessary to perform tax obligations. If you violate FAVR terms of use or rules, we may keep your information for as long as it may be necessary to investigate and resolve the violation. We also retain information for the purpose of responding to any legal claims in relation to the services.

How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable and technical, administrative, and physical security measures, designed to protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access.

We regularly review our security measures with available new technology and methods. But guaranteed security does not exist either on or off the internet. We cannot guarantee the security of your information, including against unauthorized intrusions or acts by third parties. However, we make commercially reasonable efforts to make the collection and security of such information consistent with this policy and all applicable laws and regulations.

General Disclosures

Our services are for adults (18+ years) and are not for children. If we believe a child has shared any personal information, we will use reasonable measures to ensure we do not further use or disclose that information and delete this data. If you are sure a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@favr.co.in

As part of our user service quality assurance practice, telephone conversations over phones may be monitored or recorded as normal business operations. Recorded calls will be used for quality and training purposes.

Third-Party Collections

Our app and website may contain links to third-party websites and to our social network accounts. Clicking on any such links will connect you to the third-party services and may lead to collect your personal information if you are logged in those social network accounts. Kindly to read the privacy policies of these other platforms before clicking on any links on our app or website.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-parties. We do not control any of these third-parties. If you have any questions about the privacy practices of any third-party, you should contact the relevant third-party directly.

Changes To The Privacy Policy

As our service extends our privacy policy will also get changes, we reserve the right, at our own discretion, to make changes to this privacy policy at any time. We advise our users to check privacy policy periodically to be informed of how we are protecting member information. We will notify you by updating the “last updated” date in this page.
